ZAIN BROWSING CONFIGURATION WITH YOUR PC
1. First register at www.your-freedom.net after that make sure you activate your account because if you didn’t activate it, it wont work
2. Get the software for the freedom and the phone (pc suite) ready and get set for the configuration
3. install all the software i.e. the freedom software and the pc suite for the mobile phone you want to use
4. After the installation click on the freedom
5. Goto configure
6. In address put ems04.your-freedom.net/info.tx
7. The port automatically change to 443
8. At the bottom of this page, check this boxes
9. Reconnect after server shut down
10. Go to proxy settine
11. Use 172.18.254.5 as the proxy address and use 8080 as the port
12. Go to account information, input the username and password that you used to registered at freedom’s website
13. After that get your phone configured and then connect it to your system via pc suite
14. After that go back to your freedom window then click on start connection, look at the symbol of your freedom when the question mark on the door disappears you are connected.
15. For Mozilla firefox configuration, click on tools then click on Advance option then click on Network option and then click on Manual Proxy, in the proxy address put local host and the port use 8080 then check the box for use this protocol for all others
16. For Internet Explorer’s configuration click on setting or tools then click on internet option then click on LAN setting the input the normal local address in the proxy address and put 8080 in the port then check bypass proxy for all local address box
Then you are through with the setting you can now start browsing for free

MOBILE BROWSING CONFIGURATION

For Zain configuration use this settings
Homepage: wap.ng.zain.com
Password: wap
Username: wap
Access point: mms.ng.zain.com
Use the normal password and username
Then use
IP:172.18.254.5
Port: 8080
Then start browsing
For Mtn configuration
Use the following
Homepage: wap.mtnonline.com
I.P. 10.199.212.2
port:8080,9201
Password: web
Username: web
Access point: web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
Use the normal password and username
